Women of the Year

“Thank you, FWA. This award is for the women of the financial services, the women who have worked hard to earn a seat at the table. Nobody gave you that seat; you earned it.”
—Maria Bartiromo,
Anchor and Managing Editor, CNBC
FWA Private Sector Woman of the Year 2012

Since 1984, the FWA has honored distinguished women in both the public and private sectors for their achievements, leadership and professionalism. The FWA Women of the Year awards are presented in the spring at the FWA Annual Dinner, the organization’s major fundraising event to benefit its nationally acclaimed scholarship, mentoring, financial literacy and summer training programs.
