FWA-NJ/Seton Hall University Mentoring Program Kickoff Event

Workshop leader Jim Arnoff conducts the session

The Kickoff event for the FWA in New Jersey’s Mentoring Program at Seton Hall University was held at the university on October 2, 2019.  26 students in the Stillman School of Business will be participating in the program as mentees for the school year 2019-2020; the mentors are all FWA members who volunteer their time to mentor the students.  This is the 5th anniversary of the program, which started in 2015 with 11 mentees.

The guest speaker at the event was Jim Arnoff, a professional coach in New York City.  He ran a highly interactive workshop for the group entitled, “Maximizing the Mentoring Relationship…Creating the Win, Win”, in which he gave the group many ideas about how to achieve a successful mentoring relationship.  Both mentees and mentors left the workshop excited to begin their mentoring discussions, which are due to take place at least monthly throughout the school year.
