It’s a New Year! Why not make new and lasting connections and even possibly buy an important piece for your wardrobe? That and more was the focus at a recent event hosted by the Financial Women’s Association’s West Connecticut affiliate (FWA WestCon) that took place in the Carlisle Collection showroom in Greenwich, CT.
Following time for networking, participants learned what being a “fashionista” actually means at the exciting event. Are you aware this word means having knowledge of colors, fashion themes and fabric quality? If you didn’t know, now you do.
New Trend: Animal Prints are “In”
A private showing of Carlisle’s spring collection, presented by Angela Smith, the Carlisle Showroom Manager, was both eye-catching and inspiring. Not only did Ms. Smith guide the attendees on a tour of the spring collection but she also revealed animal prints are in or “always in” and so are colors like red, black and white, honeycomb and even tropical prints.
Carlisle, founded in 1981, is the largest direct selling women’s clothing company and produces couture dresses, suits, separates and accessories. The styles are both cutting edge and timeless, and the one-on-one service is geared towards providing a shopping experience that is very personal.
