As part of the transition from active duty to the private sector, women veterans are best served to prepare a winning résumé, complemented by superior interviewing skills. While a résumé can get you into the building, translating your experience can help kick the doors wide open.
Veterans are invited to join this focused session to assist with the next steps in career development and entry into the private sector, especially the financial industry. Attendees should bring their biography, work history, a current résumé and /or copies of service documents relating to their job description or performance reviews. The FWA and GWIM* Women’s Exchange Mentoring Program are delighted to co-host this event, featuring career coach and facilitator Raleigh Mayer.
Note: Women Service Members: Active Duty, Reserves, Veterans – No Cost

About the FWV:
Started in 2013, the FWA announced its new initiative, the Financial Women’s Association for Women Veterans: Serving Women Who Served. With women comprising 8% of U.S. veterans, easing their transition from the military to the private sector- in particular, financial services- is a key focus for Wall Street and beyond. As the FWA strives to accelerate the leadership of women in the financial community across all industries, our Members and corporate sponsors are stepping up to serve this important constituency
