On Tuesday, July 30th, FWA celebrated the 2024 Wall Street Exchange program graduates and their completion of the seven-session summer program.
Graduates were greeted by FWA President, Annette Stewart, and then treated to a presentation by Brenda Titus, Vice President, Associate Manager, Short Hills, NJ, for Wells Fargo Advisors, who shared her advice to her 21-year-old self and answered questions from the interns.
Among the advice Titus shared was a reminder to embrace failure and to view it as a stepping stone. She also suggested that they to continually strive to do 1% better each day; the cumulative effects will be felt throughout their lives and careers.
After Titus’ presentation, Gerri Bostick and Laura Smith Dunaief, WSE Co-chairs, and Annette Stewart presented graduates with their program completion certificates. Ten participants with perfect attendance throughout the summer’s program also received a special gift from FWA.
Special thanks to Wells Fargo Advisors for sponsoring this in-person celebration and to all of this summer’s sponsors and speakers, who bring this program to life for the interns who represent financial services’ future. Thanks also to the WSE committee members and the FWA Office for their support.
