Description: 

Join FWA-LI for our 13th annual golf event at Cold Spring Country Club on August 7, 2024! We have something for everyone – play 9 holes, participate in the golf clinic, and/or join us for a networking cocktail party.

 

For those that are new to golf, register for the clinic and learn how to Get in the Game including receiving the invite, the "must-knows" for playing in a corporate outing, and the "don't do's" when playing in the business environment. This "classroom" session will be coupled with a 1.5 hour instructional clinic where you will be introduced to the basic skills needed to play golf: putting, chipping and full swing.

 

Learn that golf is not just for men, and that women should learn to get in the game to help get ahead in business and not be afraid to do so!

 

Remember GOLF does not mean Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden it means Game Of Lessons First – teaching you the lessons you learn first then take to the course!

 

Already play golf? Play 9 holes at Cold Spring Country Club. The Cold Spring golf experience is truly one of the finest that Long Island country clubs have to offer. 

 

Want to attend the clinic? The Cold Spring Country Club has 4 PGA professionals that all come with the finest of reputations, and have all had successful playing careers both locally and nationally.

 

Cold Spring Country Club has hosted many area events and qualifiers - most recently the 2011 Met Open Qualifier - with reviews from some of the top golfers in our area which were outstanding.

 

No interest in playing or learning about golf? No worries: join us for the cocktail and networking event which will follow.

 

Whatever you choose, there will great networking for all, a brief presentation on using golf for business, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, raffles and prizes.
