We’re excited to announce the following speakers for the 2024 FWA Annual Summit. These VIPs and experts will share their insights on this year's theme, this year’s theme, “AI, Technology, and Finance: Reshaping Our Work and Our World.” Speakers at the conference have a breadth of experience spanning the financial industry - explore their bios below!



Pawneet Abramowski

Pawneet Abramowski is a recognized Compliance and Risk Management Executive with over 25 years of comprehensive public and private sector experience, offering unparalleled knowledge in shaping the organization’s risk and compliance ecosystem to achieve strong business outcomes with a digital transformation. 


In 2017, she established PARC Solutions LLC, an advisory firm with expertise in business strategy development, repositioning of products/services to align with regulatory standards. She has been responsible for the business’s digital transformation, approach and delivery focused on modernizing how the clients utilize technology across the organizations while balancing risk and security. 


Ms. Abramowski has successfully steered businesses in managing complex regulatory challenges. In her roles as the Head of Financial Crimes Risk Management, Chief Compliance Officer, she designed and drove the execution of most significant regulatory deliverables within and across geographies, businesses, and functions. Previously, she also held Compliance leadership roles at CIT Group Inc., RBC Capital Markets & Morgan Stanley. Prior to private sector roles Ms. Abramowski spent several years in an investigative and intelligence capacity with government agencies ending with the Federal Bureau of Investigation working on global terrorism cases.  


Ms. Abramowski was also an Adjunct Professor of Law/Distinguished Lecturer at Case Western Reserve University School of Law’s Financial Integrity Institute teaching and, in the U.S., and globally. She is an SME trainer providing training to government and financial industry professionals in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.  


Ms. Abramowski holds an MBA from Adelphi University Robert B. Willumstad School of Business and an MA in Government and Politics and BA in Public Administration from St. John’s University.  


Irene Aldridge

Irene Aldridge is CEO of AbleMarkets and AbleBlox, as well as Adjunct Professor at Cornell University Operations Research and Information Engineering Department, Cornell Financial Engineering Manhattan (CFEM) program. Irene separately teaches at Cambridge University Master in Finance program. To date, Aldridge started 6 companies, and has previously successfully brought to market 2 platforms, Able Alpha and AbleMarkets, both in the Financial Services space. Aldridge holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union (NYC), M.S. in Financial Engineering, MBA from INSEAD (France) and has studied in two PhD programs: Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and Finance. She is a noted researcher, having authored or co-authored six books (all published by Wiley) and multiple research articles. Over the years, Irene has held various senior positions in most aspects of financial services, beginning with back office with large scale integration of financial systems and mission-critical security implementations, through system architecture for distributed web-secure applications, through risk management where she ran quantitative teams, through front office and trading, where she developed and built out cutting-edge quantitative financial tools for designing, trading and marketing of financial products. 


Irene’s most recent publications include: “Synthetic KYC: Detecting Irregularities and Money Laundering on Blockchains,” “The AI Revolution: From Linear Regression to ChatGPT and Beyond and How It All Connects to Finance,” Big Data Science in Finance, Real-Time Risk, and High-Frequency Trading


Jonathan Dambrot

Jonathan Dambrot is CEO of Cranium AI, Inc. The company spun out of the KPMG Studio and came out of stealth mode in April 2023. Jonathan is a former Partner at KPMG, cyber security industry leader, and visionary. Prior to KPMG, he led Prevalent to become a Gartner and Forrester industry leader in 3rd party risk management before its sale to Insight Venture Partners in late 2016. At KPMG he led third party security globally, AI Security services, and built Cranium in stealth. He has been quoted in a number of publications and routinely speaks to groups of clients regarding trends in IT, information security, and compliance. Jonathan received his MBA from The Pennsylvania State University, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP).


Patti Domm

Patti Domm is an Emmy award winning journalist and former CNBC Markets Editor. Patti is currently a consultant and financial writer, specializing in the financial markets, energy, Wall Street and the economy. Her articles appear frequently in Barron's. She was awarded an Emmy for her work during the financial crisis for NBC Nightly News. Prior to joining CNBC, she was the equities editor for the Americas at Reuters, where she had also served as Wall Street editor.  She is principal of Patti Domm Associates. 


Patti is a member of the board of the Financial Women's Association and is co-chair of its programming committee. She has organized many high-profile events for the FWA in her more than two decades of service to the organization.



Diana Doroftei

Diana Doroftei is the Head of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance at Bose Corporation working side by side with the CISO to mature the cybersecurity program at the company. She has over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, digital adoption and transformation, and security awareness within several multinational companies. At Bose she oversaw the implementation of initiatives across security operations, enterprise security, governance, risk and compliance and product security. Diana is currently exploring the use of AI within the security landscape and not only. She serves as a strategic advisor for Modelex.AI, Model Exchange, a decentralized AI infrastructure network. Prior to Bose, Diana was with Blackstone and Oliver Wyman as part of their digital transformation, adoption and security awareness initiatives. She has a Masters in Technology Management from Columbia University.



Amy Gradnik

Amy Gradnik is currently the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer for S&P Global. As CRCO, Amy is responsible for promoting an effective risk, control and compliance culture across the firm. She leads the team in identifying risks that could impact our ability to deliver on strategic objectives; ensure risk management and internal control measures are integrated into all aspects of strategic and operational planning and day-to-day operations; and regularly advises the Executive Committee on risk and compliance matters. Amy has a unique mix of career experience across operations, technology, finance and procurement. Prior to her current role, she served as SVP of Business Services within Corporate Finance, leading the team that manages business services operations, global sourcing and procurement, and financial transformation. Amy was also the Chief Operating Officer for Digital Technology Services, a role in which she led the execution of strategic programs, including financial management and transparency for our businesses, IT service management processes and procedures, and vendor management and governance. Earlier in her career, Amy held roles in technology project management at Visa as well as transformation & governance and financial management at BNY Mellon. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Robert Morris University.


Eric Jacks

Eric Jacks has 21 years’ experience in capital markets and currently serves as Head of Global Markets Origination for BMO Capital Markets.  In this role, Eric oversees Securitized Products Origination, Commodities, Securitized Credit Trading and BMO Radicle.  Eric also serves as a member of BMO Capital Markets DEI Steering Committee.   Eric Joined BMO with the acquisition of KGS-Alpha in 2018, where he worked from 2010-2018 and served as head of credit trading, overseeing ABS, CMBS, CLO and Non-agency RMBS.   Prior to KGS Eric worked at J.P. Morgan in the Chief Investment Office.   Eric holds a bachelor’s degree from Whitman College in Mathematics-Physics where he currently serves on the President’s Advisory Board.



Jay Jacobs

Jay Jacobs is the U.S. Head of Thematic and Active ETFs at BlackRock. In this role, Jay oversees the overall product strategy, thought leadership, and client engagement for the firm's thematic and active ETF business. 


Jay is also responsible for BlackRock's international ETF suite.  Previously, Jay founded and led Global X's Research and Strategy team, which originates the firm’s insights on markets and ETFs. He also guided the planning and development of the firm’s strategic direction. 


Prior to joining Global X, Jay was a business analyst at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in the ETF and Indexing Group, where he helped launch hundreds of ETFs on the NYSE Arca trading platform. 


Jay holds a BA from Emory University in International Studies and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA charter holder. Jay is a member of the executive advisory board of Columbia Business School’s Program for Financial Studies. He resides in the New York area and is an avid explorer, spending his spare time in the outdoors hiking, skiing, kayaking, and mountain biking.


Stephany Kirkpatrick

Stephany Kirkpatrick is a digital executive and seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in companies across a variety of industries, from startups to Fortune 100 corporations. Stephany founded Orum in 2019 on the belief that consumers should have immediate access to their money. The daughter of an immigrant, and a Certified Financial Planner, Stephany has dedicated her career to thinking about how to help those that have less, have more. She has spent the last decade building technology to optimize financial outcomes for Americans — first at LearnVest where she helped design its financial planning software and now at Orum. Orum is building new financial infrastructure that allows money to move immediately and automatically across accounts, products, and financial institutions. Stephany leads with strong core values and believes in diversity of thought and people. She is a mother of two young girls and actively participates in building a future that empowers women through her mentorship work.



Kalyani Koppisetti

Kalyani Koppisetti is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her current role as a Partner Solutions Architect at AWS, she advises top financial software providers on cloud architecture and strategies to harness emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), advanced data analytics, and digital transformation. Prior to AWS, she held a senior technology leadership position at Fidelity Investments.



Yun Li

Yun Li is a reporter at CNBC. She covers the U.S. markets and the biggest investors on Wall Street with a focus on Warren Buffett and his conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway. Her work includes a weekly “Invest Like Buffett” column about the legendary investor’s philosophy and lessons. She previously worked at Reuters and Bloomberg News. She's also the co-author of Eunice Hunton Carter: A Lifelong Fight for Social Justice, which earned a PROSE award in 2022.



Elizabeth MacBride

Elizabeth MacBride is a consultant, author, entrepreneur and award-winning business journalist with expertise in finance, technology and international business.


She has been on the founding team of four startups, including Wealthfront, the first online financial advisor. She is the author of the Little Book of Robo Investing: How To Make Money In Your Sleep, the latest in the acclaimed Wiley series aimed at helping individual investors get their share of returns. She is currently a senior consultant at the We-Fi Initiative for women entrepreneurs finance, housed at the World Bank.


In her journalism career, Elizabeth has written or edited for Quartz, Forbes Magazine, Atlantic.com, Stanford GSB, CNBC, HBR.com, BBC Capital, Advertising Age, Newsweek and many others. She founded the Middle East entrepreneurship beat for Forbes.com, was a writing fellow at the UN’s Office of the Quartet in Jerusalem, and has brought a journalist’s sensibilities into the world of global finance, with viral features like: Why Venture Capital Doesn’t Build What We Really Need. 



Frank Mastrangelo

Frank Mastrangelo is CEO of Payamigo. Frank has decades of experience as a bank and fintech executive, board member and advisor. He currently serves on the boards of Cardless, U-Nest, Stronghold, and The Artemis Fund. He serves as a Senior Advisor at Klaros Group, and previously was at Sapere Advisory, a consulting firm focused on commerce and fintech, where he was founder and managing director and an advisor to several fintech SPAC transactions. Before that he served as General Manager, Banking Services for Green Dot Corporation and COO of Green Dot Bank. Earlier in his career he spent more than 16 years at The Bancorp, Inc., where in roles including COO and CEO, he led The Bancorp. to become a global leader in financial services and technologies. Bank Innovation, a leading industry journal, named him one of the 40 "Innovators to Watch," citing him as one of the thinkers shaping the future of financial services.


Jens Nordvig

Jens Nordvig has an unbroken track record as leading markets strategist that spans well over two decades. For five years running, including the worst of the European financial crisis, Jens was the #1 ranked currency strategist by Institutional Investor. He was also awarded the Wolfson Economics Finalist Prize. Previously, Jens was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, a Senior Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates and Head of Fixed Income Research and Global Currency Strategy at Nomura Securities, before founding Exante Data in 2016. Jens is also at the forefront of using AI in connection with financial market analysis within MarketReader (a company he co-founded in 2021).


Jens holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark as well as a MA and BA degrees in economics from the University of Aarhus. He is a frequent guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and has published op-eds in The Financial Times. Jens is regularly interviewed by Barrons and Forbes. He is the author of The Fall of the Euro (2013).


Danielle Oels

Danielle Oels, managing director, is the head of quantitative research for the U.S. Equity Core team at JP Morgan Asset Management, based in New York.  In her current role, Danielle is responsible for the team that provides research analytics and conducts quantitative modeling for the core investment process.  An employee since 1998, Danielle began her career as a portfolio assistant and junior portfolio manager in the US Structured Equity team, before transitioning to a role as a quantitative researcher in 2003.  Danielle holds a B.S. in finance from Cornell University and is a CFA charterholder.


Dana M Peterson

Dana M Peterson is the Chief Economist and Leader of the Economy, Strategy & Finance Center at The Conference Board. Prior to this, she served as a North America Economist and later as a Global Economist at Citi, the world’s largest investment bank. Her wealth of experience extends to the public sector, having also worked at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. Peterson's research has been featured by U.S. and international news outlets, both in print and broadcast, including CNBC, FOX Business, Bloomberg, BBC, Harvard Business Review, Barron’s, the Financial Times, and the Wall Street Journal. Dana is a member of the Board of Directors of NBER, NABE, and Global Interdependence Center, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.


David Ping

David Ping is the Head of Data and AI/ML Solutions Architecture for Global Financial Services at AWS. He specializes in AI/ML technology, data architecture, cloud adoption, and digital innovation. In his current role, David advises global financial services customers on data and AI/ML strategies and helps them create innovative technology solutions on AWS. Before joining AWS, David spent over 17 years at JPMorgan Chase and Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for building mission-critical financial technology systems. 


Kim Prado

Kim Prado has over 25 years of experience delivering business aligned platforms and applications in the Capital Markets and Financial Services industry across all aspects of client, pre-trade, order management, pricing & risk, execution, sales, and operations.


Kim joined BMO in August 2021 from RBC where she was the Global Head of the Client, Banking & Digital Channels Technology group across Capital Markets. Kim developed and implemented a comprehensive client data strategy adopted by Capital Markets retired obsolete applications and united the global salesforce under a single client relationship management instance. Collecting and connecting client touchpoints with external data sets allowed her team to proactively source opportunities and recommendations using advanced AI and machine learning to deepen client relationships and increase wallet share. 


Kim held multiple roles at RBC over 15 years supporting the business in various capacities. Throughout her career, Kim has led technology teams at Mizuho and ICAP and held multiple positions across the street with Kidder Peabody, Deutsche Bank and Chase Securities. Kim received a BA from Stockton University in accounting.



Ginniee Sahi

Ginniee Sahi US Global Sales Leader, is part of AWS Global Sales. As a woman in technology leadership, she enjoys working with her teams and customers and is driven by Amazon’s Leadership Principles of Success, Scale, Broad Responsibility, and Learn and Be Curious.


She holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics, an MBA from Babson College, and AI, ML, and Data Science from the Berkeley School of Information.


Annette Stewart

Annette Stewart has nearly 20 years of experience working at  firms such as Citadel, Goldman Sachs and is currently at Royal Bank of Canada.  Annette has spent her career focused on derivatives regulation, front-to-back trading process, overall firm process improvement, project management, legal trade confirmations & currently working on strategic risk & regulatory initiatives.


Annette graduated from Texas State University and completed her Juris Doctorate at the University of Iowa where she participated in international law programs in France and London. She is also a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business MBA Program.


Annette is currently the President of the Financial Women’s’ Association of New York and serves on the University of Iowa College of Law Foundation Board, Phi Chi Theta Foundation & participates as an advisor for several non-profit organizations which includes Sigma Kappa.


Albana Theka

Albana Theka is the Director of Analytics and Data Strategy at Building Service 32 BJ Health Fund, the fund administering health benefits for over 200 thousand lives for the 32BJ SEIU union. In this role she partners with Executive leaders to lead the delivery of data products and engineering solutions that impact financial decisions and member experience. Prior to this role Albana served as the Sr. Director of Data and Analytics at New York City Health and Hospitals and led the Financial Sustainability Analytics Center of Excellence. Prior to that, Albana spent 12 years in finance, operations, and strategy leadership roles at NYU Langone Health and led their financial analytics for multi-million-dollar budgets. Before making a transition to Healthcare, Albana also spent 5 years at Ridgewood Savings Bank, a New York City based retail bank. Albana is a champion for women in finance and is a Board member and the President Elect 23-25 for the Financial Women’s Association, a non-profit organization that promotes the professional development and advancement of all women across the financial community. Albana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from St. Francis College and an Executive MBA from St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn NY. Albana’s hobbies are singing and traveling with her family.


Tannisha Troutman

Tannisha Troutman is a Deloitte partner with more than 20 years of experience serving financial institutions in the insurance and investment management industry, ranging in size and complexity from large multinational insurers and asset managers to Insurtechs.  Tannisha has extensive experience with insurance operations, the valuation of complex embedded derivative, market risk benefits and future policy benefits. She has also led a number of projects for business combinations, carveouts, SEC and foreign filer compliance and internal control systems.  Tannisha is IFRS certified and served as a leader in the U.S. for Deloitte’s efforts around the accounting for insurance contracts under FASB’s Long Duration Targeted Improvements (LDTI), including serving on the firm’s LDTI audit steering committee.


Tannisha is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.  She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Tannisha is a member of various professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Black Accountants.


Dr. Denise Turley

Dr. Denise Turley is the Vice President of Corporate Systems at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she leads the strategic development and operational oversight of enterprise-wide technology solutions. Her expertise is pivotal in advancing AI adoption by harnessing data, enhancing the performance of essential systems, and ensuring their seamless integration and operational efficiency.


In addition to her corporate role, Dr. Turley serves as an Assistant Professor, excelling in creating an engaging, inclusive, and high-performing classroom environment. She also contributes to the AI Acceptable Use team, where she develops guidelines to ensure student success.


Dr. Turley actively participates in volunteer work and public speaking, advocating for the empowerment of women in technology and championing the use of AI to enhance educational outcomes for disadvantaged students.


Dr. Turley is a top voice on LinkedIn for AI, and Executive Management.


Bruce Weber

Bruce W. Weber returned to the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College in 2023 as the Willem Kooyker Dean and Professor after serving on Zicklin faculty and directing the Subotnick Financial Services Center from 1999-2002. Until 2023, he was dean of the Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware. Weber has co-authored three books and published widely on information systems, trading, and financial technology. He served on the Advisory Council of SWIFT, the worldwide financial messaging operator. At Baruch, he is responsible for direction and development of the Zicklin School, its 214 permanent faculty, 14,500 students, and 100,000 alumni. Before becoming dean at UD in 2011, he was a professor and founding department chair for Management Science & Operations at London Business School, and earlier was on the faculty of the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is co-developer with Bob Schwartz and Andy Novocin of TraderEx, a computer simulation platform for trading and markets education (https://etraderex.com/). He earned a PhD in decision sciences from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in applied math from Harvard University. 


Dawn Yiannoullou

Dawn Yiannoullou is the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Mizuho Americas, a leading international bank, where she is responsible for IT strategy and governance, Infrastructure, Data and AI, and has become a noteworthy leader in New York’s technology and data space.  During her tenure at Mizuho, Dawn’s work has focused on contextualizing how technology can support the needs of the business and the interplay of innovation and governance in that support.  She previously held positions at Bank of America and Omgeo. 


Dawn attended the University of Florida, earning a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing and a M.S. in Information Systems and Operations Management.  She resides in Harrison, NY.  When she is not keeping busy with Mizuho, she can be found with her three children and husband.


Sarah Youngwood

Sarah Youngwood serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Nasdaq. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, and investor relations, Sarah leads a global team responsible for Corporate Finance, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, ESG Reporting, Procurement, Real Estate, Facilities, and Security.


Sarah joined Nasdaq from UBS Group, where she served as Chief Financial Officer and Group Executive Board member. In her role, Sarah led a global team of 3,500 people across Finance, Treasury and M&A, and played a key role in modernizing the bank’s infrastructure as well as the acquisition of Credit Suisse.


Prior to UBS, Sarah spent more than two decades at JPMorgan Chase in a number of executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer for the Consumer and Community Banking and Global Technology businesses, Head of Investor Relations, and Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group.


Sarah holds a combined undergraduate and Master’s Degree in Finance and Business from ESCP Business School. Since 2018, she has also served as an Advisory Board Member of Wall Street Women’s Alliance.
