Join us for a fireside chat with Rebecca Edelman. FWA President Annette Stewart will lead this informative discussion with Rebecca Edelman as we learn about her journey on Wall Street and her decision to move into entrepreneurship.

Rebecca Edelman is Founder and CEO of Caper Associates LLC which offers a flexible subscription-based package with a comprehensive set of products and services designed to equip all students with the essential basic skills for career success. This newly launched limited liability corporation is under an exclusive licensing agreement with former professor, Dr. Bill Coplin, an award-winning educator, author, and social innovator, who founded the highly successful Policy Studies major at Syracuse University.

 

Edelman has spent the past 20+ years in Financial Services, managing various businesses as Chief Operating Officer that spans from Securities Research to Structured Credit and Leveraged Finance.

 

Edelman began her career as a Production Assistant at the Fox News Channel. She then transitioned to HSBC Bank to help design and execute the group's global Corporate Social Responsibility division. In parallel, she created and taught a newly designed course at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Public and Nonprofit Management.

 

Edelman received her BA as a dual major in Journalism and Policy Studies at Syracuse University, and earned a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Finance from NYU.

 

Edelman is a senior female leader and active member in diversity and inclusion programs. She currently resides in Connecticut with her husband, three stepsons, a rescued cat and five chickens.
