Pacesetters

Launched in 2015, the Pacesetter program is a specialized leadership development program for FWA’s President’s Circle companies. The program is a continuing partnership with the President’s Circle organizations that recognizes outstanding leaders within those companies who exemplify the character, achievement, passion and leadership that is critical to organizational success. Participants of the program are paired with a mentor, receive coaching by an executive coach, attend workshops designed to build key leadership skills, and are able to expand their networks while developing personal and professional bonds with their cohort group, previous cohorts and others in the FWA.

Volunteer to Teach Financial Literacy

There’s no better time than right now to give back to the community by volunteering to teach young adults how to be financially savvy. The Financial Literacy program is a great way for members to become involved in one of the FWA’s premier outreach programs. FWA volunteers can participate in one or more sessions, as their time permits, and training is offered for those who would like to try it out for the first time. Volunteers love the program, because they can give back to young adults while also sharpening their presentation skills while teaching the curriculum.

Mentor High School and College Students

Our high school and college mentoring programs have been in place for over 30 years and provide future women leaders with the opportunity to receive long-lasting and committed support from professional women in both one-on-one and group environments. Mentoring on the high school and college levels allow mentors to give back to the community by helping students build skills necessary for career advancement. In return, mentors benefit from sharing knowledge, developing leadership skills, and by strengthening their interpersonal skills, which can ultimately re-energize one’s career.
