Announcing Meredith McGriff, Director of Technology and Communications of the FWA

Meredith joins us from the American Folklore Society (AFS), where she supported the back end of AFS websites and managed their membership and communication systems. Meredith has demonstrated her creative and technical expertise in building their virtual hub and embedding Zoom access for virtual or hybrid attendees.
Meredith holds a Ph.D. in Folklore Studies from Indiana University. She is the author of Michiana Potters: Art, Community, and Collaboration, and a co-editor of Advancing Folkloristics along with Kristina Downs and Jesse Fivecoate.
We are excited to have Meredith as part of our team as the FWA launches into 2023 and beyond. Her skills and expertise will be a critical asset to the FWA as we look to innovate, grow our membership, and continue to build our programs.
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Meredith. She can be reached at [email protected] or 212-533-2141 x705.
