*Pacesetter Participation Requirements

  • One of the primary benefits of the Pacesetter Program is networking and relationship building. Therefore, the participants must commit to being part of the Pacesetter community.
  • Missed Sessions:
  • The expectation is the participants will attend all Pacesetter workshops.
  • We understand that conflicts can occur. A participant can miss up to three workshops and still complete the Pacesetter program.
  • If the participant misses more than three workshops, we will reach out to the participant and their manager to discuss further participation in the Pacesetter program.
  • Please inform the Pacesetter Committee Co-chairs ([email protected]) or your firm’s FWA Relationship Manager if a prospective candidate leaves your firm either before the start of, or during, the program. Substitutions will be allowed up until the end of the second workshop - after that, no additions will be made. 


Manager Engagement/Participation

  • We encourage active participation from the Pacesetter participant’s managers. The Pacesetters program is a development opportunity. Manager engagement will help ensure the participants will be able to transfer their skills to their roles.
  • We encourage managers to:
  • Discuss the program with their Pacesetter participant
  • Attend the kick-off and ending session ceremonies
  • Utilize Pacesetter participant feedback to develop personalized development goals
  • Facilitate opportunities for the Pacesetter participant to utilize their skills back on the job
